Learn Film & Video Editing at Vidéographe

This summer, Vidéographe Production is providing a Final Cut Pro 6 intensive training course starting June 16-19th, as well as an Adobe After Effects training course on June 22-25th 2009.  Spaces are limited, so please reserve your spot early. Ciné-Asie’s 2nd Annual National Portrait Contest

Ciné-Asie’s 2nd Annual National Portrait Contest being held May 22nd at the Cinémathèque Québécoise Café-Bar, 335 Blvd. De Maisoneuve Est. from 18:00 – 22:00 pm screenings start at 19:00pm)

Ciné-Asie’s National Portrait Contest is an annual event that encourages and supports emerging Asian and Canadian visual media artists. The screening of short films and video entries at this years event have been received from all across Canada such as Quebec, Nova Scotia, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario. The theme for this year’s edition is Portraiture, and the presentations lasting anywhere between 30 secs in length to 10 mins, explore a vast array of topics such as youth, identity, belonging, nomenclature, history, family, heritage, sexuality, culture, distance, and community.

Our new ventures into Sales & Distribution continues to gain momentum. We are currently in the process of acquiring several Canadian features for Asian distribution and a couple of South Korean film for distribution in North America.
